Every couple has a favourite picture of themselves. It’s from their wedding day or a holiday.

The couple, both 26, run their own photography business in Durham, North Carolina, and used Photoshop image editing software to make their designs.

The shots were inspired by a project on photosharing website Flickr, which urged users to take one picture every day of the year.

The couple, who have been married for two-and-a-half years and are now expecting their first baby, spend days planning their images and then up to 24 hours perfecting the final product.

Most are taken using a timer or remote on a camera, set up on a tripod before being put together and manipulated using Photoshop.

Mr Lawrence, a professional photographer, said: ‘We wanted to document all the changes that may have taken place, whether it be our hair or clothes. We can say we have physical documentation of a whole year of our lives – it is amazing.

‘Doing it together is often what makes it so fun.’
